Founded by Justin Mallard and Murray Honda in 2012, the Project Warmth program has been providing coats and boots for Chilliwack children every year. Since 2012, the program has raised close to $1 million for coats, boots, and school supplies for kids and currently supports over 1000 children annually thanks to generous donations from our partners and sponsors.
Each year, the program alternates between Coats for Kids and Boots for Kids, supporting children from Chilliwack all the way to Boston Bar.
Murray Honda along with Chilliwack Canadian Tire, Chilliwack Staples and other amazing partners within the community have been working hand in hand with the Chilliwack School District and more recently Fraser Cascade School District.
Project Warmth, recently launched for 2022, is now officially under the umbrella of Chilliwack Bowls of Hope Society.
Ensure no child is without proper winter clothing.
All children deserve to play comfortably and be free from harm. Without proper winter gear, kids stay inside and miss out on memories and play, and are more likely to get injured or sick while at school.
